If MySpace was still relevant, Sunday Riley would be in my Top 8 – no questions asked. This brand is beyond delightful. There are not many Every product has a disctinct purpose or promise, and every product delivers on that promise quickly and effectively. What’s even better is that all of the products are cruelty free (yay Sunday)!
This review is, of course, all about Sunday Riley’s moisturizer: TIDAL. This moisturizer is, literally speaking, my favorite moisturizer to use under makeup to date. It is definitely true to its name – it feels more like a gel or watery cream than a traditional moisturizer. The texture of the cream was the first thing that really drew me into this product.
The second best thing is that it neither mattifies nor overly hydrates. I have used this on myself for a few months now, and I have used this on countless clients. No matter what type of skin someone has, this works.
I thought that it couldn’t get any better than that, but it did. This cream helps to resurface and brighten the skin. I have sun spots on my nose (most definitely from the sun and not natural) that went away through use of this and the Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic Acid + Retinol Serum. I was blown away!
I love this brand so much because nothing in their products is there for show. There are no artificial colorings or fragrances. This really stands out to me because so many brands are just out to make a dollar. They don’t really care about the efficacy of their products as much as they should. Not Sunday Riley. Everything has a purpose.
**BONUS: This product has no dimethicone! Dimethicone is a filler in products. It literally doesn’t do anything. This product has none of that. Everything in here has a purpose.
Seriously, if you haven’t tried this moisturizer yet, you are missing out!
